Chat with Trovu

Ask about grants in the chat you already use. Your assistant searches Trovu's grants, checked today, and answers with a link to each funder. It's part of your Trovu plan.

Copy your connector address

  1. Open Connectors. In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Add Trovu. Choose Add custom connector, call it Trovu and paste the address above.
  3. Sign in. Choose Connect, log in to Trovu and choose Connect again. That's it: ask away.
  1. Open Apps. In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Apps. Adding your own app may need Developer mode, under Advanced settings.
  2. Add Trovu. Choose Create, call it Trovu, paste the address above and choose OAuth to sign in.
  3. Sign in. Log in to Trovu and choose Connect. In a chat, pick Trovu from the + menu, then ask away.

Trovu works with any assistant that can add a remote MCP server (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot Studio and others): add the address above and sign in with Trovu when asked.

In Claude Code:

Menus move from time to time: if a step looks different, look for Connectors or Apps in your assistant's settings. At work, an admin may need to allow it first.

Questions

What can the assistant see?

Only Trovu's grants and funders, matched for your organisation. It can't see your payments, change your plan or see who else is on it. What you type in the chat is covered by your assistant's own terms.

Does it cost extra?

No. It's part of your Trovu plan and uses the same daily searches as the finder.

How do I disconnect?

Remove Trovu in your assistant's Connectors or Apps settings. If your plan ends, the connection stops working by itself.
